Greensboro to start leasing new affordable housing units

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — 84 families will soon have a new place to call home.

Yanceyville Place Apartments in Greensboro will start leasing the new affordable housing units in a few weeks. Hundreds of people are already interested.

The process is first come, first served. There is an income requirement based on the size of your family. The rent will range between $325 to $875 per month for a 12-month lease.

Once the leases are signed, people can move into the brand-new apartments soon.“We are very much in the homestretch,” said Bobby Funk, the development director at Mills Construction.

They are putting on the final touches to building a bright future for families.
